He had an affinity for water as well, it was kind of course to ice and snow, but he did not love it as Loki did. "Once, you would have told me all that worries you. He did care for her. Deeply. She was precious to them, yes. Magical and about to join their kingdom fully to Asgard. But they were also close in age enough that they had played as children together. He remember that fondly, until duty forced them to put away their toys and amusements.
