He certainly didn't want an Anthony who saved the world on a regular basis, he sounded far too altruistic for Loren's tastes. He wanted his mechanic who shared his selfish biases and loved him and only him. Which might make the issue of children a slightly thorny one.

"We are not yet wed, we have only been promised to one another for a few days, do you not think that is a premature question?"

Loren wasn't ruling the idea out. A part of him wanted something else that would love him unconditionally, but nor was he wildly enthusiastic. He knew firsthand how difficult adopted children could be, being one himself.
