[John is being more observant than usual of late, and he catches sight of the mark. His mind runs to the Alphabet Woman and what she might have injected his friend with, though, not what Sherlock might have been doing to himself. He'll leave off asking until they're at their next destination. It might be the morgue where he can make a proper examination of the idiot, and Molly can fetch them anything they need to get Sherlock stabilized. Also maybe a nice morphine drip for John.
