Billboards lit up the night, neons and flashing lights that had him squinting.

[Tadashi? He thought he was hallucinating for a moment, that he was seeing Tadashi because that was who he dearly hoped to find in this place.
But it only takes him a moment to start moving. He flings himself forwards, crutch clattering to the floor beside them, and envelops the older boy in a tight embrace. His throat is tight and his eyes feel scratchy, but he's beaming all over his face.]
