The medication that Stark foisted on him would, without doubt, be one of the main reasons that he would survive this instead of dying of sepsis over the next few days, though he was still stubborn enough to make sure that Stark took some of them and insisted on continuing to move about to clean them both up as best he could.

It was on the fourth night since they had both woken up, when the fever from his infection had finally started to go down, that Bucky felt clear headed enough to start a conversation that wouldn't just end in silence and sleep as it had so often over the past few days.
