At least Bucky did as Steve asked and didn't interrupt him while he spoke, even though he genuinely wondered if what he was hearing was at all possible or just total nonsense. No. Not nonsense, the fact that he was stood in a garden on another world was pretty much proof of that, and he had seen both the blue genderless thing and the giant wolf, so... God, what the hell was going on?

He swallowed hard and then reached out, oh so carefully, and laid his hand on Steve's knee as he sits beside him.

"I can't pretend I understand any of this, but I know that it doesn't really matter because I'm still gonna be with you no matter what. I just don't want this to hurt you or whatever the hell was happening before when you didn't even want to come into my house."

Because neither of those things were acceptable.

"What-- what do you want to do about all of this?"
