There's nothing that Bucky could have done to make him look this way, but like any human being, Steve seeks out an explanation that doesn't have to do with some sort of magical voodoo first. He rubs a hand down his abdomen and looks at his fingers, honestly expecting to find a smudge of charcoal or eyeshadow powder on them.

He twists, looking down at himself, and nearly falls over the toilet in the process. A catch of himself on the tiled wall with one outstretched arm details muscles just under the skin.
