At least Tony seemed to be sober now, he was moving like a man who was actually steady on his feet for once, and that loosened a bit of tension in Steve's shoulders. He was prepared to try and pretend nothing had happened, as that's what Tony seemed to want before.

"If you're in a fight, you should always try and break the hold. You want the fight to progress on your terms, not theirs. Why would you not want to break a hold?"

It's not an aggressive question, just asking in case Tony does have a good reason for it.
