Okay, so apparently Tony didn't have anything to say to him once sober. Steve had been dumb for thinking that maybe, just maybe, he'd have thought about the way he'd been treating a supposed friend and apologise. But that was dumb, because Tony Stark only ever thought about himself, and if something went wrong then clearly it was other people out to get him.
When Steve showed up to the training room in the morning, dressed in loose sweats and a t-shirt, he looked disappointed. But there was nothing else to say, he wasn't about to keep fighting someone to be respected just to be yelled at some more.
